The Ferrari team has announced its first ever partnership with a Russian company, as the Maranello squad now has an association with Kaspersky Lab, with the IT security firm becoming an associate of the Italian team as of this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.
The link-up was revealed in a press meeting at the Circuit de Catalunya on Thursday, attended by Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali as well as Eugene Kaspersky, the CEO and co-founder of the company carrying his name, and team test driver Giancarlo Fisichella.
As well as being partnered to the Formula 1 team, Kaspersky is also starting a partnership with AF Corse, Ferrari's e Mans Series outfit for which Fisichella drives along with the likes of Jean Alesi and Toni Vilander, who will all be sporting the Kaspersky logo.
