Ferrari F1 driver Felipe Massa completed Friday morning's fastest lap in Istanbul Park. The Brazilian showed he is ready to fight for a third win in a row in Turkey by setting the fastest time of the day at 1.27.323. He was just ahead of recovered McLaren driver Heikki Kovalainen and his team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
The Turkish Grand Prix weekend got underway at a damp track on Friday morning. The track was slightly wet not due to any rain from last night but because the organizers in Turkey decided to clean the track at the very last minute on Friday morning. With temperatures as low as 15 degrees the track didn't dry that fast. It turned out to become a pretty boring session for the fans in Istanbul as it took at least 45 minutes to see a bit of action on track.
The full race results from the Spanish Grand Prix.

Brilliant performance by the two Ferraris. I think they had to back off in the end to save the engines. Another consistent performance by Kubica.
I thought Heidfeld penalty was unfair they really need to change that ruling. He was going to run out of fuel!
Button, Nice to see him in the points but poor luckless Rubens
Nakajima more points for him and yet another good showing from Trulli. A shame his stop took too long.
Very eventful race. Especially when Heikki crashed. Unusual to see a car go so deep into the barrier!
